What should the agent know before it designs anything?
A site built from a vague request tends to look generic, because the agent has to guess what you want. A short planning conversation gives the agent your purpose, your visitors, and your content before any design starts.
Each prompt in this course goes into the chat of your , an AI assistant such as Claude Code or Codex that creates and edits files on your computer. The planning prompt has the agent create one folder for the whole site and tell you where it is. Every later step starts with the agent open in that same folder, so keep a note of its location.
The agent asks one question at a time: who the site is for, what a visitor should do there (join a club run, read your work, find opening hours), which pages it needs, and what words, photos, or logo you already have. Your answers stay in your own words, and the agent writes them into a one-page site plan you check and correct.
